September 24, 2015 – Rai Radio 1 aired an interview with SEP Scientific Council member Stefano Manzocchi, in which he discusses the Volkswagen scandal. When asked about its potential effect on Italian businesses, he states:
It could be, at the very least, in the short term, an advantage for Volkswagen’s competitors. With regard to collateral effects, naturally there are a number of small and medium enterprises that work with Volkswagen, but they also work with other car manufacturers. They will experience some effects naturally.
