Italy is in dire need of a robust injection of investments (public and private) to rebuild the structural foundations of growth and spread innovative processes throughout the production fabric that rekindle the productivity dynamic. The initiative launched by the European Commission with the Next Generation EU, therefore, represents a decisive opportunity. Its main pillar, the Recovery and Resilience Facility, provides unprecedented resources to finance national investment plans that meet the recovery objectives of each Member State within the framework of the new European development strategy based on the Green Deal and digital economy.
