Global economy: the watchword is "do not panic" – Franco Bruni – ISPI

On the occasion of its Spring Meetings in early April, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) updated its growth forecasts until 2022. Overall, there is an improvement: compared to what was expected only three months ago and last October, the speed of recovery of the world economy is expected to be greater this year, respectively by 0.5 and 0.8% and next year by 0.2%. But the improvement concerns above all the more advanced countries, while on average for the rest of the world the forecast improves less and, for next year, it worsens slightly.
